R2-D2 helped open the Burger King convention at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. He appeared onstage with the CEOs, who were dressed in Star Wars costume, to help promote the theme of the convention. One of them arrived in an X-wing fighter, the other flew in on wires, dressed as a jedi. R2 rolled in with dice attached to his front arm. Burger King was officially licensed to give out Star Wars toys in their kids meals. R2 met Magic Johnson, who was there doing a charity fundraiser on the convention floor.
